Thanks for the unforgettable hunt! I cannot believe how close the birds came to the blinds. We actually had adult birds landing in the spread! I just want to thank you for the excellent time we had spring goose hunting with you in South Dakota. I was amazed at you decoy spread and the calling technique you use. We heard from locals the night before the hunt that we were with the right guide and you proved them right. When we went into town for lunch two of us had 27 geese on the ground, another hunter we talked with only had three on the ground. At that point we knew we had made a great choice. Thanks to you for all your diligent work in your preparation of the hunting sight. We will see you next year, with more hunters with us.

Thought I would drop you a thank you note on one of the best hunts I have been on for a long time. I always wanted to do the spring goose hunt but never knew how to get started. You definitely showed me the way. You supplied everything needed to complete a great hunt, the blinds, the land, the calls, the decoys and even the birds. I have never shot so many geese in one day my entire life, and I have hunted a lot of waterfowl over the years. Your ability and attitude to supply a great hunt is number one in my book. Keep up the great work.

I hunted with Mat and his crew from Northern Skies Outfitters for several days on two different trips to South Dakota for the spring goose hunt of '09. I am a 30 year veteran to waterfowl hunting; I have never had snow geese in the decoys on such a consistent basis. On two different occasions during these hunts we had birds in the decoys, and Mat called the shot, my partner and I didn't shoot (until late) after a falling of geese and the pellets settled. Mat said "why didn't you guys shoot?" as we replied "they were to close!" These birds were 5 feet above our blinds with birds on the ground in the feeding pocket. Mat knows how to decoy birds. It was a great experience, in which I will be going back! I would highly recommend Mat and his crew at Northern Skies Outfitters to you all.
